Honouring the last day of the year of the snake 🐍
Welcoming the first day of the year of the Fire Horse 🐎

Today we stand in a powerful threshold, - the final day of the year of the snake, a year of shedding, deep inner wisdom, and quiet transformation. The snake has guided us through cycles of release, intuition, and renewal. Before we step forward, we pause to honour all we have learned, all we have outgrown, and all we are ready to leave behind.

Snake Closing Ritual
Find a quiet space
Light a candle or incense
Place your hand on your heart and breathe deeply
Whisper "I honour what has been. I release what no longer serves me. I thank the snake for its wisdom"
Write down one thing you are ready to shed- then safely burn, tear or burst the paper as a symbol of release.

As the sun rises tomorrow, we enter the vibrant, bold and fiercely alive year of the FIRE HORSE - a year of passion, movement, courage, and unstoppable momentum. Fire Horse energy invites us to rise, to act, to create and to trust the wild, powerful flame within.

A Serpents Farewell.... and a Fire Horse Rising 🐎 🔥

Today felt like a moment written by the universe itself.

My husband and I went for a walk this afternoon, and just as he stepped down onto a rock ledge, a snake slithered right across his path - swift, silent, and impossibly symbolic. Today is the very last day of the year of the snake, and here we were, witnessing one in the flesh as it made its final appearance.

I reached for my phone to capture the moment, but he disappeared just as quickly as he arrived. All I managed to photograph was the rock he glided across.... but honestly, that feels perfect. Some signs aren't meant to be held - only witnessed.

Tomorrow we step into the year of the Fire horse - a year of bold movement, fierce transformation, and powerful new beginnings. And today the snake offered its final blessing, shedding the old, making space for what's ready to ignite.

Here's to closing cycles with reverence and stepping into the Fire with courage.
