FROM HATE TO LOVE - THE STORY OF ONE TRANSFORMATIONAL DRINK 😉
Hello beautiful souls! It’s Angelina here, one of Victoria’s students in Australia.
I’m sure many of you already know the glories of simple but life changing practices that Victoria inspires us to do, but I always seem to have underestimated them, until one moment I looked back at my life and was so thankful that I couldn’t recognise it anymore 🙏🥹
Whilst there is a huge list to share of everything that has beautifully transformed, from toxic relationships to grateful partnerships, from depression and depletion to a blissful daily existence and of course many habits, such as smoking! Let’s just say that the only thing smoking in my life now is the daily incense sticks and… my progress! It’s totally on fire 🔥😎
Today I would like to share one of the little things that Victoria has inspired me and many others to make part of our routine.
The Golden Elixir of Life… The King of Healing Spices… TURMERIC!
You may already know it as Turmeric Latte. However, when you can make it at home and without all the nasty additions, I can assure you that it’s better, cheaper and healthier! You can also make it your own, meaning that you’ll like what you are drinking, which is directly correlated to the benefits you will receive from it.
I’ll confess… the first time I tried it, I hated it. It was too bitter and too strong. But now that I make it myself, I can’t think of anything better in the morning, lunch or afternoon 😂 In no time this golden goodness will replace your morning coffee.
Turmeric is highly anti inflammatory, and inflammation is associated with most chronic diseases and illnesses. Drinking turmeric as a drink will help boost your immunity, clear your body of toxins (meaning clearer skin!), support healthy digestion and with many more benefits is just a great way to start your day.
Why aren’t capsules and tablets containing turmeric the same? Because only a small quantity of its ingredients is absorbed by the body, depending on how/when you take them and also on what your digestive fire is like.
I think you are ready for the recipe now 😉
❤️ 1 heaped teaspoon Turmeric
❤️ Pinch of Black Pepper
❤️ 2 tablespoons of Coconut cream
OR
❤️ Any plant based milk
Whilst all plant milks are great for this drink, Turmeric is best taken with something fatty, like coconut cream, which improves its absorption.
For 1 heaped teaspoon of turmeric powder, add 1 tablespoon of coconut cream and stir away with some hot water. Alternatively, you can use any other hot plant based milk.
It is important to add a pinch of black paper to help your digestion get started as well!
Sweeten it to taste with honey and VOILA!
Then it is fantasy 😋 You can add the following:
💠 Honey (my personal must 😁)
💠 Cinnamon
💠 Cardamom
💠 Nutmeg
💠 Ginger
