Are you struggling to keep up the motivation to head out for a run now that your life has returned to normal after the holiday period?
Well, we have FIVE tips to keep your motivation high and keep you running!
1️⃣ The night before place your running gear ready to go
If your gear is ready to go, it's the first thing you will see in the morning and will make it quick and easy to get up and go in the morning
2️⃣ Set small goals
If you wake up and don't feel like running, instead of aiming to do the entire session, just aim for 5 minutes. We find 90% of the time we end up doing the whole session anyway!
3️⃣ Find a run buddy
Schedule weekly runs with someone at a similar level to you and check in with each other too. Scheduling a coffee date post-run also helps make it more motivating!
4️⃣ Eat well
If you eat well, then you will feel good. If you feel good you will more likely feel motivated to exercise.
5️⃣ Sleep is queen
Enough sleep and you can do anything. We always aim for at least 8-9 hours each night.
