Last week the International Longevity Centre UK (ILC UK) announced the winners of Work for tomorrow, an international competition looking for the best innovations responding to longer working lives.

Labora is Brazilian start-up delivering an end-to-end HR technology that helps include workers of all ages at scale. It's an impressive Innovation that starts with building community and weaves wellbeing into its skills-matching process.

Congratulations Labora on taking the bias out of recruitment, and putting community back in.

Great news – Ageing Workforce Ready has been shortlisted in the Innovation Resource Center for Human Resources Work for Tomorrow innovation competition. We’re thankful to be making a difference for older workers, and blown away that the team is being recognized on the international stage.

‘Married for life, not for lunch’. For some this quip is a light-hearted joke about adjusting to full time life with a partner or spouse. For others though, it’s the sad reality of a relationship that didn’t survive the retirement transition. They even have a name for it: ‘grey divorce’. Without a doubt, retirement is a big transition. And when adjusting to any life change we know that it’s our supports who can really help get us through....
