🌅 Embrace Mindful Mornings for a Positive Start! ✨

1️⃣ Set Up a Consistent Sleep Routine: Prioritising quality sleep will help you wake up with a refreshed mind and body. Create a consistent bedtime routine to wind down, ensuring you get the restorative rest you deserve. Your mornings will be brighter when you wake up feeling rejuvenated! 😴💤

2️⃣ Hydrate and Eat a Balanced Meal: Fuel your body and mind with nourishing goodness! Start your day with a glass of water to hydrate, then start the day with a balanced meal packed with nutrients. A healthy breakfast sets a positive tone and allows you to include more fruits and vegetables in your day! 🍳🥦💧

3️⃣ Engage in Mindful Practice: Take a moment for yourself to cultivate inner peace, whether it's meditation, gentle stretching, or focused breathwork. Mindfulness practice helps you connect with the present moment, calm your mind, and set positive intentions for the day. 🧘‍♀️🌿✨

🌻 Embrace the Beauty of Mindful Mornings and Thrive! 🌄💖

By setting a consistent sleep routine, nourishing your body with a balanced meal, and practising mindfulness, you're creating a solid foundation for a successful day. Give yourself the gift of a mindful morning, and watch how it transforms your entire day. 🙏✨

Sending all the love to all the ladies out there 💞

Mother's Day means different things to us all. It can be a time when we can feel a range of emotions, and so I want to send all my love to all the incredible ladies in my life. If you need extra love and support this Mother's Day, take care of yourself x

For me, I am blessed to be able to celebrate Mother's Day with my three kids and my incredible mum. Becoming a mother has been one of my life's most rewarding yet challenging achievements. It helped me discover a newfound appreciation of my mum and the incredible job she did and continues to do of raising, loving and supporting my siblings.

So today, I am grateful for all the ladies in my life who have and continue to support, love, and cheer me on.

There are many benefits of movement for your mental health. Try moving your body for 30 minutes today to experience the following benefits:

1️⃣ Mood Booster: Physical activity releases endorphins, the "feel-good" hormones, which can instantly lift your mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.

2️⃣ Stress Relief: Exercise is a fantastic stress-buster. It helps to reduce cortisol levels, the stress hormone, and promotes relaxation, leaving you feeling calmer and more at ease.

3️⃣ Enhanced Cognitive Function: Regular movement improves cognitive function, memory, and concentration. It stimulates brain activity and promotes neuroplasticity, boosting mental clarity and productivity.

4️⃣ Improved Sleep Quality: Regular physical activity can help regulate your sleep patterns. It promotes better sleep quality, helping you fall asleep faster and enjoy more profound and restorative sleep. Quality sleep is vital for mental health and overall well-being.

💪 Embrace the Power of Movement for Your Mental Health! 💆‍♀️🌈

Get moving to unlock these incredible benefits for your mind and body!

🌟 Boost Your Mental Health! 🌟

1️⃣ Connect with Others: Cultivate meaningful relationships with friends and family. Social connections are essential for your well-being! Pick up the phone and chat with your bestie or reach out and book your next in-person social connection

2️⃣ Limit Screen Time: Take a break from the digital world and enjoy some offline moments. Give your mind a chance to unwind and recharge. Put down the phone and be present with those you are in the company of, pick up a great book or take time out for meditation.

3️⃣ Prioritize Sleep: Quality sleep is the key to a healthy mind. Make it a priority to get those precious Zzz's and wake up feeling refreshed! Start preparing your body and mind for sleep by turning down the lights, having a warm shower and switching off the screens.

Remember, small changes can have a big impact on your mental health. Take care of yourself and your health and happiness! 💙✨

Looking for a healthy breakfast idea? This Chia Pudding recipe is my current go-to. So easy to whip together the night before and you can prep a couple at one time for the following few days.

In the morning simply add your fruit and granola of choice and you have a lovely plant-based breakfast in less than a minute.

This quote is a great reminder that taking care of your mental health should be a top priority and that it is impossible to give from an empty cup.

It emphasises the importance of prioritising self-care and happiness and reminds us that taking care of ourselves is essential for overall wellbeing.

Long weekends are the perfect time to prioritise your wellbeing! Here are 4 tips to help you make the most of your time off:

Get outside and enjoy nature. Spending time gently moving your body in green spaces has been shown to reduce stress and improve mood.

Take time to disconnect from technology. Unplug from your devices and enjoy some screen-free time to recharge your mental batteries.

Nourish your body with healthy meals. Use this extra time to enjoy mindfully eating nourishing foods

Make time for self-care. Whether it's reading a book, taking a relaxing bath, or practising yoga, make sure to carve out some time for activities that bring you joy and help you relax.

In a year where our lives have changed beyond recognition. Are you ok? ⠀
⠀
The lines between work, school and home have been blurred like never before. ⠀
⠀
This year parents took on the mind-blowing task of both supporting their kids during remote learning, whilst working their jobs from the kitchen bench, the dining table or if they were lucky a little study nook in a corner of the house. ⠀
⠀
This year kids were expected to stop doing what kids do best. Stop seeing their friends every day, stop playing sports, stop playing on the monkey bars & swing

This year singles people in Victoria were told to self isolate & businesses told to close their doors
⠀
I know for me personally this year has been one where I had to put the pause button on my business. I did this for so many reasons. Mainly because 3 young kids needing my 24/7 undivided attention whilst learning to manage their new normal was my main priority. This decision has been challenging for me. ⠀
⠀
My business is all about helping others live calm, healthy and happy lives with a focus on mental health. Something that has become such a massive topic over the last 6 months as more and more people struggle with feelings of stress, anxiety and overwhelm. Rates of depression have increased significantly and yet here I was just trying to get through my days with my own and my families mental health intact.⠀
⠀
Watching this conversation happen has been heartwarming (improving awareness and overcoming the stigma is one of the positives), heartbreaking (that so many are struggling) and also incredibly frustrating (that I haven't had the capacity to contribute in a more meaningful way).⠀
⠀
Here's what I am learning though, sometimes it is ok to let go, to do what serves you best. To recognise what is important to your own mental health and treat self-care as your #1 priority.⠀
⠀
So today you might want to reach out to a friend and ask them ? Or you might need to ask this of yourself and reach out for help. If you are concerned about someone close to you and are unsure of how to start the conversation has so many wonderful resources to help you navigate this sometimes challenging question

What are the traits in yourself or others that you value the most?⠀
🤔⠀
⠀
The other day I was asked what are the most important traits I would like to help foster in my kids.⠀
⠀
I honestly have never been asked this before and not ever consciously stopped to consider this while raising my kids. ⠀
⠀
Having being asked this question though my answer was clear. If my kids grow up to have an attitude of gratitude, be resilient and empathetic humans I will happily give myself a pat on the back for a job well done⠀
