The Seawinds Gardens and National Park are only 5 minutes from our house, and the kangaroos meet there every night at sundown.

My wife and I have seen them numerous times before but tonight was special. It's the largest mob we've seen and so many mother's with joey's inside their wee pouches.

We've no idea what spooked them, but when they came running towards us it was a cross between Jurassic Park and an old Western movie. The sight and sound of at least 50 kangaroos bounding past us just metres away felt incredible.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever see myself standing in the middle of a Kangaroo stampede!

Today I'm celebrating 15 years clean! Thank you to the people, the Power, and program of recovery that makes the impossible possible.

It's been such a great day. This morning I joined an online meeting in Aberdeen attended by good friends and people from across the world.

I video called my Mum to wish her a Happy Birthday - which is such a gift and double celebration for us both on February 10th & 11th!

And the rest of the day has been spent with my beautiful wife in the local thermal springs relaxing and eating good food.

Forever grateful for the gift I've been given - and I get to keep it by giving it away! ♥️
