Support that feels like teamwork 💪

Every Thursday, Josh meets up with his support worker Karim for personal training but it’s about way more than exercise.

It’s about showing up, building routine, setting goals and smashing them one by one.

Josh says having someone in his corner who believes in him makes all the difference. Whether it’s a tough day or a good one, Karim’s there to back him up, lift his energy and keep things moving forward.

Together, they’ve built something that feels more like friendship than support and with plenty of laughs along the way.

When support is done right, it motivates you, pushes you and helps you grow in ways you didn’t think possible. 💜

We’re proud to announce our new partnership with Fruit2Work , who are now supplying the Caring Lotus kitchen with fresh fruit, milk and everyday essentials to keep our team fuelled and feeling good.

But this is about more than snacks.
Fruit2Work Aus is a social enterprise creating meaningful second chances by employing people who’ve been impacted by the justice system — and that’s something we’re proud to stand behind.

Meet John 💜
He’s one of our incredible Admin Assistants and the magic behind the scenes when it comes to keeping our rostering running like clockwork.

With years of experience in the NDIS space, John brings calm, care and serious know-how to the team, especially when it comes to all things scheduling. (Yes, he’s that person who makes sense of rostering software... and actually enjoys it!) Reliable, experienced and full of heart, John is someone we can always count on.

When he’s not keeping everything in order at Caring Lotus, you’ll find him spending time with his whole family. He’s a volleyball enthusiast and loves watching Korean series.

We’re lucky to have him as part of our Caring Lotus team!

Say hello to Bill 👋

On a recent shift with our support worker Jo, Bill asked to visit Williamstown to test out his new video camera. A gem he picked up from the local Salvos.

He wasn’t quite sure how to use it at first, but with a little patience (and a lot of determination), he figured it out and was absolutely chuffed with himself (as was Jo)!

Bill filmed a sweet little video, including some beautiful ducks and then found a seat and took in the calm of the water. He told Jo he could sit there all day.

It’s precious moments like this that really capture what we’re all about. It’s the simple joys, the little wins and genuine connection. 💜
