Satya Sound Flow

Satya Sound Flow Gentle yoga and sound bath sessions to help you slow down, reconnect, and feel at home in your body. Open to all—no experience needed, just come as you are.

Hi, I’m Chun 💛

I’m a yoga teacher and certified sound healer, sharing gentle yoga and sound bath sessions with my local community for the past few years. Each month, I host a yin yoga and sound bath workshop in Surrey Hills—a calm, welcoming space to rest, reconnect, and just be. No experience is needed, just an open heart. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions—I’d love to hear from you.

• Teaching & Certification
- Yoga Teacher Mentoring (2024) Sanjay Lavoipierre, Phoenix Yoga Studios (Melbourne, Australia)

- Sound Healing Therapy (2023) Sound Healing Academy (Upwey, Australia)

- Yoga Teacher Training (2020) Karma Yoga (Vancouver, Canada)

• Teaching Style
Theming: I love theming and philosophy! Don’t be surprised if I leave a classic philosophy question for you at the end of the class.

• Music: Music is the very important part of the practice and it can develop the experience incredibly. I have created playlists on Spotify and Apple Music for online practice and they will be updated every week to the theme.

The year didn’t always go as planned… and somehow we grew anyway.
Quietly. Gently. In our own messy human way.

December is my favourite time to recalibrate — to choose softness, to choose rest, and to choose myself again.

This Sunday, I’m holding a little sanctuary for anyone who needs the same.
Candlelight. Stillness. Sound.
A soft place to land.

If your heart needs a pause… there’s space for you. 🤍✨

Reading this reminder about love today:
“We can only love others as much as we love ourselves.”

And I thought about how often we forget this.

When the nervous system is tense, stressed, or overwhelmed, it becomes hard to receive love, give love, or even feel grounded in our relationships.

Practices like sound healing, yin, and deep rest help the body shift back into safety.
When we feel safe — love grows. Connection grows.

It always starts inside. 🌿

Where do you notice sound in your body?

When we slow down enough, the body always tells a story.

Sometimes it shows up as warmth in the chest,
a release in the belly, or soft tingles through the spine.

Take 10 seconds — notice where you feel it.

Vibration. Slow breath. Stillness.

On Sunday 7 Dec, I’m holding my final yin + sound bath of the year — a 3-hour slow, grounding, nurturing reset before December gets full.

Brain waves shift when we rest.

During a sound bath, the vibration of different instruments gently guides your mind from the busy Beta state…into Alpha (relaxed), Theta (meditative) and sometimes even Delta (deep restoration). ✨

This is why so many people describe sound baths as:
“like meditation, but easier,”
“deeply soothing,”
“a reset for my nervous system.”

When your brain waves slow down, your body finally gets permission to soften — physically, mentally, emotionally.

If you’ve been feeling overstimulated or running on adrenaline, this practice helps bring you back into a softer, steadier rhythm.

✨ Slow down, breathe, and let the frequencies do the work.

They say sound can’t change our DNA —
but maybe it can change how we live inside it.

When we rest, breathe, and listen,
the body begins to soften.
Stress quiets.
Cells respond.
And healing becomes possible again.

Sound doesn’t rewrite our code —
it simply reminds us
that peace is already written within.

Melbourne’s been moving through all seasons this week — heat, wind, rain, and stillness.

The weather always changes, and so do we.
Maybe balance isn’t about staying steady,
but softening into the rhythm of it all.

Still floating from this afternoon’s sound bath with the postgraduate students at Melbourne Uni with GSA. 🌿
We shared an hour of slowing down — soft sounds, deep breaths, and that quiet exhale we often forget to take.

Thank you to everyone who showed up today with openness and presence.
It’s always humbling to witness how sound can soften even the busiest minds.

If you’ve been craving that same stillness, I’ll be holding my next Candlelight Sound Bath next Friday, 7 November in Surrey Hills.
A small, gentle space to rest and reset before the weekend rush.

Sound healing is an invitation to pause —
to feel the vibrations move through the body, quiet the mind,
and remind your whole being what calm feels like.

Each sound wave helps regulate the nervous system, releasing tension and guiding you back to stillness.
It’s not just rest — it’s a reset.

✨ Upcoming Sessions
Friday 7 Nov – Candlelight Sound Bath (Surrey Hills)
Saturday 7 Dec – Rest Before the Rush: Yin, Sound Bath & Tea (St Kilda)

🎟️ Early bird tickets now available for 7 December. Booking via eventbrite link in bio.

I’ve been unwell the past week — the kind of slow that your body insists on.
It’s not the kind of rest we plan, but it’s the one that reminds us how much we need to pause.

Slowing down is an act of trust. ✨
Trust that things will still move, even when we don’t.
Trust that rest isn’t falling behind — it’s returning to balance.

If this speaks to you, I share more gentle reminders and moments of stillness here.
Join me in remembering that slowing down is allowed. 🌿🤍
