Today, we’re excited to introduce Peter from Arcare Carnegie, a man with an extraordinary life story! Peter’s journey started in the police force, where he was responsible for looking after VIPs—including royalty and heads of state—visiting Victoria on behalf of the state government. 👑

After his business grew, he left the force to focus on new ventures, including becoming a councillor for the City of Springvale, where he was elected Mayor in 1984. Peter also served as Deputy Chairman of the Melbourne Metropolitan Water Works in the Southern Region for 8 years.

One of his greatest achievements? Receiving the prestigious Order of Australia for over 40 years of community service. “It’s been one heck of a journey!” Peter shared.

We are so proud to have him as part of our Arcare community! 💜🌟

Arcare Carnegie and Arcare Caulfield partnered with Pure foods for a picnic on Albert Park Lake recently. 🍍🍓

The sun was shining, and it was a perfect day for some outdoor seated yoga led by the Australian Yoga Academy. 🧘‍♀️

Carnegie and Caulfield were lucky enough to be some of the first to trial The Pure Food Co's new Fruit smoothies, and they loved them! 🍇🍉

Arcare Carnegie residents recently enjoyed a lovely meander through the laneways of Carnegie. 🚶

Neighbours began developing the laneways in 2017. They continue to maintain them and the artworks displayed, which were also donated by the locals. 🖼️

Visitors are welcome to enjoy the free library book exchange, artworks and street paintings. Our residents had a wonderful time exploring the area. 📚
