Meet Sam 👋

Sam came to me, defeated, deflated and spinning her wheels.

Here's exactly what we did:

✅ Reduced the crazy amount of steps she was doing (she couldn't make it through the day without a nap)
✅ Made a balanced plan that worked for her, including all foods in her daily eating (yes, this included pasta 😉)
✅ Increased her carbohydrate intake to help boost energy levels
✅ Focused on meals she enjoyed so it was sustainable
✅ Provided education around dining out
✅ Gave her a training program that was actually structured

As a result, Sam lost 3.5kgs and 15cm in only 6 weeks AND no longer needed to take a nap during the day.

Coaching is not about dictation, it's about education.

When you find a plan that works for you, the work no longer becomes a chore 💪

I never thought stepping into a gym and training seriously 15 years ago would teach me some very valuable life long lessons.

Training was initially about chasing a physique goal, little did I know what it would actually teach me.

These are life lessons that have helped me see some amazing highs and some of the lowest of lows, meet amazing people and lose people I thought would always be by my side.

The simple task of lifting a weight up and putting it back down became a journey of understanding my strengths, weaknesses and how much I let the options of others dictate where my life went.

Training teaches you discipline, structure and showing up when you don't want to. It teaches you that your efforts determine your results.
It teaches you that if you want something, you're the only one who can do the work to get you there.

How many calories should you be on in a fat loss phase 🤷‍♀️

Let's take a look at the basics 👀

Each individual is different, it's not so clean cut however here are the basic calculations required to start seeing some results on your own

You don't need to go to extremes, you just need to know how to calculate your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) what type of a deficit you will be able to stick to and how to maintain muscle, keep your hormones in check and still provide the body with sufficient energy.
There is no perfect macro split however some are more optimal than others.

Meet my client Tiff 💪

She came to me wanting to increase strength and compliment her current spot.
In a 4 week block, this is some of what we achieved. 1RM increased while still having sufficient recovery.
As Tiff leads a busy life, with work, study, gym and sports, here's what we did:

✅ Focused on 3x 60min sessions per week
✅ Ensured we worked on muscle groups that would support her current sport, while still maintaining a balanced physique
✅ Had sufficient rest time between sets
✅ Focused on rep ranges between 5-8 reps to decrease muscle fatigue
✅ Correct form which helped to increase 1RM

A well structured program should support your goals. Stop following random work outs, they won't get you the results you're chasing. A program needs purpose 🔥

Here is your go to cheat sheet of how to put together a tasty, nutritious meal without being complicated.

1. Pick your protein source ✅
2. Pick your carb source ✅
3. Add in some veggies ✅
4. Choose your base flavor ✅

5. If needed, add a drizzle of oil in for fat content

Meals that will save you when you're time poor but still have goals 💪

The most common reason I hear as to why people don't achieve their goals, is time.
However, regardless - you need to eat. You can spend 5 minutes throwing together a meal that gets you closer towards your goals, OR 5 minutes complaining about how time poor you are while waiting for uber eats.
