🚨 NDIS SCANDALS EXPOSED – THE LNP’S SHAMEFUL LEGACY 🚨

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1A6Kain7iR/

Funding Cuts: Let’s not mince words—the LNP has gutted the National Disability Insurance Scheme, slashing $4 million here and a jaw-dropping $1.6 billion there. These are deliberate attacks on the most vulnerable in our community. These cuts aren’t “budget savings”; they’re theft from people with disabilities who need this support to survive and thrive.

Deaths on the Waitlist: 1,279 lives lost. Let that sink in. These are real people—mothers, fathers, children—who died waiting for the NDIS help they were promised. This is beyond a policy failure; it’s systemic neglect by a government that couldn’t care less.

Martin Hoffman: The former CEO of the NDIS left in disgrace in 2022 amidst swirling rumors of impropriety, including his connection to an adult shop. This is the kind of leadership the LNP thought was good enough for our national disability scheme? Are you kidding me?
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/15iBJ83dXM/

Linda Reynolds: The same party that let Linda Reynolds, infamous for her appalling treatment of Brittany Higgins, have a hand in shaping disability policy. This is the standard of leadership from a party completely out of touch with decency.

Stuart Robert: Allegations of corruption? Check. Cronyism? Check. Stuart Robert, former Liberal minister, was accused of using his influence to benefit the lobbying firm Synergy 360. This is the rotting underbelly of LNP politics laid bare.
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1E4FZc4dcd/

Michael Sukkar: Branch-stacking scandals, misuse of taxpayer-funded staff, and zero accountability. Assistant Treasurer Sukkar epitomizes the LNP’s culture of arrogance and entitlement.
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FHxDwRyVp/

Robodebt: And let’s never forget Robodebt, the illegal, inhumane scheme that targeted the most vulnerable Australians. This wasn’t just a mistake—it was a calculated attack, with lives ruined and deaths on their hands.
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/12FXF3AGUMn/

The LNP doesn’t care about disabled Australians. They don’t care about fairness, dignity, or justice. They care about profits, power, and their mates. It’s time to hold these people accountable.

🛑 Enough is enough. Fight for better. Stand up for the NDIS. 💪

We are a small organisation but we are trying to do our part for the environment.

As part of our Environmental and Waste Policy, we have adopted the following practices:-

KEEP CUPS🥤☕️🍽️: you may have seen the plethora of colourful REUSABLE CUPS around our office. We welcome anyone who comes to visit us, to bring their own reusable cup if they come out with us, otherwise we encourage you to eat/drink in. Sadly, we suffered a great loss when our coffee machine died last week, so our keep-cups have had a good workout these last few days.

CARDBOARD BOXES📦📦📦: As some of our participants have wood fire places, barbecues and other facilities, we have been cutting up all of our cardboard boxes and delivering it to their doors for kindling. With the new renovations, there has been a lot of cutting of cardboard boxes. Thankyou to all staff involved with cutting, stacking & delivering.

RECYCLED MATERIALS: You will also see the colourful kitchen wipes, bin liners and boxes of TISSUES around the office and can even have a “not quite white” napkin to wipe your hands and mouth after lunch. All sourced from recycled materials

FOOD SCRAPS; and lastly, we appreciated The Naughties🐶🐶 (aka Tigger &Rosie) doing their part by eating what food scraps they can to keep the amount of landfill down 😄

Take $10 off Who Gives A Crap toilet paper. It's super soft, 100% eco friendly AND 50% of profits are donated to build toilets for those in need. Woot!

Afternoon break in the office.
Tigger: On hot days☀️🥵, the boss’s heart ❤️ has to worker harder, so she has to be extra careful with her heart rate. So we’re taking a break on the comfy couch and I’m making sure she’s comfy.🥰🐶🐾

Lots of change at HWBE.
If you’ve been to see us lately, you would have noticed a lot of changes to our office.
Lots of new services and programs will be arriving soon.
’ve been working hard to have our shiny new support services, information sessions and group programs ready for next month & next term.

With new staff, an office that looks new and new structure, to say we’re excited, is a huge understatement.
