Narre Warren Medical Centre highlights the vital issue of ovarian cancer, which affects approximately 1,815 women in Australia each year. Unfortunately, most cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage, making treatment more difficult.
At Narre Warren Medical Centre, we are committed to raising awareness about ovarian cancer and its early symptoms to improve early detection. Knowledge is key, and through education, we aim to make a difference in the fight against this disease.
As February is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, we encourage you to join us in spreading awareness and advocating for early detection. If you have a family history of ovarian cancer, speak with your doctor about risk management options.
