We’re excited to welcome Dom, an experienced physiotherapist now accepting new patients at Croydon Family Practice!

With nearly 20 years of combined experience across specialist upper limb clinics, community health, and elite sports settings, Dom brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping people move and feel better.

👨‍🎓 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Sports & Exercise Science

Master’s in Physiotherapy

Certified in Strength & Conditioning + Powerlifting Coaching

Dom developed a strong interest in shoulder, wrist, and hand injuries following his own recovery from injury. His unique approach blends hands-on therapy with evidence-based strength and conditioning to support efficient, lasting recovery.

While he specialises in upper limb conditions, Dom also treats a wide range of musculoskeletal issues and enjoys working with all ages and fitness levels.

👨‍⚕️ Welcoming Dr Dan to Croydon Family Practice! 👋

We’re excited to introduce Dr Dan (MBBS, BMedSc, FRACGP) who has joined Croydon Family Practice in 2025 and is now accepting new patients.

Dr Dan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and brings with him a wealth of experience from working in hospitals across Melbourne and Canberra, with a strong background in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He completed his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2023 after undertaking GP training in Perth.

Dr Dan enjoys treating patients across all life stages and has a particular interest in preventive medicine and chronic disease management.

Influenza (also called flu) is a very contagious infection of the airways. Anyone can catch it, but it can be very serious for babies, young children, pregnant women and people with certain medical conditions. Some people need hospitalisation and it can cause death. Vaccination is a safe and effective way to protect yourself and your family from serious disease caused by influenza. Influenza vaccines are given every year to protect against the most common strains of the virus.
Get your annual influenza vaccine to be protected for the peak flu season. The highest level of protection happens in the first 3 to 4 months after vaccination. It’s never too late to get your vaccination, since influenza can circulate in the community all year round.

The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over. It is free under the National Immunisation Program for people most at risk, including:
- children 6 months to less than 5 years
- pregnant women at any stage of pregnancy
- people aged 65 years and over
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- people with certain medical conditions that increase their risk of influenza.
