Inga Becker Holistic Yoga

Inga Becker Holistic Yoga 'Bringing yoga to everyday life' The light at the end of the painful tunnel was the discovery of yoga. Inga has now been teaching full time since 2009.

Inga Becker discovered yoga almost 23 years ago and felt immediately 'at home.' Working in the past as a systems analyst in major universities implementing computer systems and being under constant pressure wasn't easy for Inga, who was also a single mum to two girls. After a number of car accidents and constant stress at work, Inga was eventually diagnosed with chronic pain syndrome, Fibromyalgia

. Inga began healing her body and found emotional and spiritual strength that helped her to make major, positive life changes and begin moving forward with her life. At the end of 2007 Inga decided to undertake a Diploma in classical Yoga and Meditation and dedicated herself to teaching, which further helped her to make positive life changes and adjustments. She continues her life journey as a student by attending specialised training sessions and workshops run by international teachers, with whom she often works as an assistant. In 2015 Inga completed an Advanced Teacher Training course with Donna Farhi in NZ. Inga has received training from some of the worlds most respected teachers, including Donna Farhi, Bonnie Cohen Bambridge, Leslie Kaminoff, Lisa Petersen, Richard Miller and Jessie Chapman. Inga teaches small group classes, private classes and runs Restorative Yoga workshops which are both innovative and authentic. She believes in supporting and guiding her students to realise and work to their fullest potential through embodiment, somatic awareness, mind body centering through the full presence and awareness of the breath. She is committed to Restorative yoga, exploring and applying 8 limbs on the yoga mat and everyday life with application of Seven moving principles and experiential exploration. Inga continues to be inspired by being a student herself and thus sharing her knowledge and passion of yoga through her teaching.

Today is the day to remember forever- day of Armenian Genoside πŸ’œ

This is my history and the history of my ancestors!

The Armenian genocide took place between the spring of 1915 and the autumn of 1916. At least 664,000 and possibly as many as 1.2 million Armenians were killed. They died in both massacres and individual killings. They were also killed through systematic ill-treatment, exposure, and starvation.

May you recognize in your life the presence,
power, and light of your soul.

May you realize that you are never alone,
that your soul in its brightness and belonging
connects you intimately with the rhythm of
the universe.

May you have respect for your individuality
and difference.

May you realize that the shape of your soul is unique,
that you have a special destiny here,
that behind the façade of your life,
there is something beautiful and eternal happening.
