PD Spotlight⁠

This week, some of our team had the opportunity to learn from Mr Austin Vo, an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in shoulders and knees.⁠

The session focused on shoulder instability and rotator cuff tears; including different surgical options, post-op recovery timelines, and return to sport considerations. 🏋️‍♂️⛹️‍♀️

Austin also spoke about the Latarjet procedure, a specific surgery used to stabilise the shoulder following dislocation or ongoing instability, giving us a deeper understanding of the surgical process and how to tailor rehab accordingly.

These insights help us better support our clients through every stage of rehabilitation, from early recovery to getting back to doing what they love.⁠
