As one of the founding chapters of the Asian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) International, we are dedicated to connecting medical students through 'Knowledge, Action, and Friendship' across the Asia-Pacific Region and beyond. The Asian Medical Students' Association International (AMSA) Australia is a founding chapter of AMSA International, the peak representative organisation for medical stu
dents from Asian-Pacific-Oceanic geopolitical region. The Australian chapter undertakes and promotes scientific research of internationally-acclaimed calibre, as well as public health posters and film clips, at the annual Asian Medical Studentsโ Conference (AMSC) and East Asian Medical Studentsโ Conference (EAMSC). These conferences are a unique opportunity for medical students to undertake and present research on the international stage, get involved in a public health campaigning on the global level, sightsee around a foreign country, and make lasting friendships with our international medical student colleagues and organisations including WHO and ASEAN. An immersive social program, cultural performances and cultural exchange lead to a truly memorable and heart-warming experience for all delegates. Furthermore, delegates then have the opportunity to get published, present their research or distribute their public health poster or film clip throughout Australia after the conference.
