Opening Hours Over Holiday Season
South Coast will be closed only on the Public Holidays, with the exception of Rosebud (Capel Sound) where the clinic will also be open on Boxing Day.

Wednesday 24th December: All clinics will close 1pm

Thursday 25th December: Closed

Friday 26th December: Rosebud (Capel Sound) open from 9am

Wednesday 31st December: All clinics will close 4pm

Thursday 1st January: Closed

We will also continue to have two clinics open of a Saturday morning across the holiday period. Please see below the clinics open on a Saturday through to the end of January. Saturday clinics are open from 8.30-12.00

Dr Shauna Cheong has been consulting in Mornington since moving from the UK in 2022. Dr Cheong has a particular interest in women's health including menopause and preventative medicine.

South Coast Medical Rye is excited to be a registered MoleMap provider with a trained Melanographer onsite.

For bookings in September, MoleMap have a 20% discount in place on the skin checks and also spot checks. Bookings can be made via MoleMap or with South Coast Medical directly.

MoleMap's proven mole mapping and monitoring program tracks changes in the skin over time to detect melanoma and other skin cancer early. Why? Because the earlier melanoma is found, the better the chances of treating it - and beating it!
With MoleMap, two sets of eyes examine any potential skin cancers: the Melanographer and a Dermatologist reviewing and reporting on the images recorded by the Melanographer.

Today and everyday, we say thank you to our amazing nurses for the incredible work that they do in our clinics assisting patients and practitioners each and every day. You are all amazing and greatly appreciated.

As 2021 draws to a close, please make note of our opening/closing times. With extended public holidays we a limiting the clinics that are open in the hopes of giving our staff a rest and recharge.
If you need scripts or referrals to get you through the holiday period please endeavour to book in with your GP before the Christmas/New Year period.
Our Blairgowrie clinic will once again be open on a Saturday morning, alongside Capel Sound from 9-12 on January 8th and 15th.
Public holiday rates will apply on 27th and 28th of December, however patients will also receive a higher rebate

Although restrictions are easing, it is important to remember that you will still be required to wear a mask while you are in our clinics.
Masks are for the protection of yourself, our staff and practitioners and for other patients who are often sick and vulnerable in our waiting rooms.

South Coast Medical will be providing a limited number of "walk in" appointments for both the Astrazeneca and Pfizer vaccines for either 1st or 2nd dose only. Appointments will be between 10am and 4pm. Walk in's will be available at our Dromana, Capel Sound and Rye clinics on the below days*
Dromana: Wednesday and Thursday
Capel Sound: Tuesday and Thursday
Rye: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
*You be be placed with the next available general practitioner or registered nurse for administering the vaccine. No 3rd dose appointments are available for walk in at this stage. 3rd doses can be booked online or via the clinics.
Please note that these appointments are strictly for administering the vaccine only. No other services can be provided in these appointments.
