Is having a routine causing you stress?

Routine is very easy to follow for most of us.

We exactly know what we need to do, how long would it take and what would be the outcome.

But too much of certainty or knowing everything can lead to acute boredom, leading to hypostress.

Hypostress can be avoided by making changes in your routine.

That doesn't mean that you do not do what you have to do, but it's more about making the routine a bit exciting and a bit different every single day!

COPING WITH STRESS

Have you gone for a walk early in the morning when all you can hear is silence.....

I love going for such walks at least twice a week. It is an opportunity to be with yourself and your thoughts.

It is an opportunity for self reflection and self-talk, which helps us express ourselves without the fear of being judged.

Lot of times, we have so much to say and express, but we don't because of various reasons....

we don't have anyone to talk to or anyone who understands us....

we fear that people are going to judge us for what we are thinking

But not expressing yourself is one of the worst things you can do to your health.

Just like any food item kept for long without preservatives developing fungus over it, so do our unexpressed emotions and expressions.

It wouldn't be a real fungus that you can see, but it disrupts the normal functioning of our body in the form of uneasiness, sleepless nights, anger, and a lot of times, chronic diseases.

Make sure to release your emotions by either talking to the people you trust or journaling down or even doing self-talk.

What's something you love to do?

I loved reading books and business magazines since I was a teenager. I always read non-fiction. I always wanted to become better than yesterday and have positivity in me.

I loved reading inspirational stories.
But somehow, things changed once I had kids. Life was pretty busy, and I would lie if I told you I didn't have time. I guess I just didn't prioritize what I wanted. My focus was kids, no doubt, but I feel I could have definitely found time for my reading, but I didn't.

I'm sure that sometime in life, you must have also gone through it.

But it's important to know that even with new things n people coming into your lives, you can still do what you love. It's just a matter of perspective and prioritising. Having clear priorities makes life happier, productive, and more fulfilled.

Love yourself, do what you love and live your life happily.

During this challenge we will work on small lifestyle changes that you can make in your daily routine to kick start your health journey (if you have been thinking of it since long but are unable to take action) or take your health journey even deeper than before.

This challenge will be hosted on my Facebook group with a combination of videos and posts. It will be a group of people who would be accountable to themselves and each other.

It is always better to begin in a group if you are not motivated enough to make a start all by yourself.
