Women who built success while surviving…
People think sabotage is dramatic. Loud. Obvious.
But in women like us?
Women who’ve already lived entire lives holding everyone together…Women who built success while surviving…
Women who know how to endure, rise, and smile through fire?
Sabotage looks subtle.
It’s Civilised. Intellectual. Spiritual even.
Survival shows up as:
Momentum breaks- that sudden pause at the exact moment you were about to rise, launch, share, sell, speak…
• Message dilution- softening your truth because your system still thinks safety means being palatable.
• Creeping doubt- the quiet voice questioning what you already know is yours and talking yourself out of what you really want.
• Shrinking in relationships- dimming your fire so you don’t outgrow, outshine, or “destabilise” the people you love.
• Selling your short in money conversations- discounting, hesitating, or explaining your worth instead of inhabiting it.
And I know this because…
I lived it.
After leaving abuse with nothing but my little suitcase and a vow to never abandon myself again,
I built a whole new life from scratch.
But my body… oh my body… still ran survival programming LONG after my mind was ready to move.
It just played out in different ways, and I had NO IDEA!!!
I would feel the next chapter calling…
I went after it…
I took bold steps to make it happen…
And in many ways it DID, BUT my body would pull the handbrake.
I’d have the idea.
The message.
The next-level client.
The momentum…
And then… collapse.
Overwhelm.
Self-doubt.
Shrinking.
Silence.
A thousand tiny ways of saying:
“It’s safer to stay here.”
So, I tweaked, changed, scrapped and started over and over again.
Every time, I told myself that THIS was the one that was going to change the game.
It’s not because I COULDN’T or I didn’t know how,
I wasn’t unskilled, unclear, or unready.
My body simply didn’t believe I was safe to expand.
When I finally stopped fighting my survival body and started listening to her…
Honouring her…
Partnering with her…
Everything changed.
My income rose.
My relationship deepened.
My message sharpened.
My leadership stabilised.
My pleasure woke up.
My business became easier because I became safer.
Here’s the truth most coaches won’t say:
Your body leads your business. Not your plan.
If your default operating system doesn’t change, you’ll never feel safe to rise; no amount of strategy will save you.
But when your body does feel safe?
Everything clicks into place like destiny.
When we rewire survival into sovereignty,
