Why the reference to bike fitting and where did evolve from?

The latest Performance Process pod from at just dropped and the discussion is all around position optimisation (bike fitting).

Sync Ergonomics has grown out of 10+ years of working though road and time trial position optimisation, for recreational through to elite athletes. While Sync doesn’t offer these services commercially any more, we have shifted our focus to producing products that support the goals of position optimisation.

Sync Aerobars are designed to facilitate an optimal time trial position, allowing bike fitters to truly work their magic ✨

Sync products have grown out of ten years working in position optimisation (bike fitting), overcoming the frustrations associated with standard equipment and poorly engineered aerobar solutions.

We work with professional service providers that understand biomechanical optimisation, knowledge in guiding athletes on the path of maximising performance.

The UCI version of our AB03 was designed to maximise length and height, within the UCI rules.

Our unique hooked lug grips are designed for a secure two finger hold. This keeps the top surface of the extensions as close to the forearm as possible, delivering maximum support.

The Tri version of our AB03 features a grip to maximise both aero performance and ergonomics. This grip is the evolution of our UCI grips, and our original U grips, fully filling the hand, for maximum control.

Of course, Triathlon requires hydration and our latest BTA design optimises bottle placement above the forearms, behind the computer and below the torso.
