🚛 Keeping Transport Safe, Strong & Human 💛
“Everything you touch, eat, wear, or build is available because someone like me sat behind the wheel for 12 hours straight.”
That reminder from a long-haul driver years ago still shapes how we think about the transport industry, it’s not just about moving freight, it’s about moving life.
Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds, in partnership with SuperFriend, hosted the Healthy Heads Industry Forum, in support of mental health, safety and well being in the transport sector, bringing together drivers, site managers, and technical experts to explore what’s working, what’s not, and what it will take to build safer, more mentally healthy, and connected workplaces.
We heard honest conversations about:
💬 Long hours, fatigue, and family strain
💬 Feeling forgotten or isolated on the road
💬 Limited access to healthy food, rest stops, and medical care
💬 Anxiety about automation and job insecurity
But we also heard solutions, and hope:
✅ Real human connection, not just policy
✅ Better communication and support for workers
✅ Modern driver hubs with care, food, and dignity
✅ Leadership that listens, values, and acts
