There is a time for everything and knowing when a purpose has been met is both the art, and skill of discernment.

15 years ago I set out on a mission- To help people learn how to love themselves; to build their confidence, for their self awareness to expand, to help them to remove everything that they are not, so their truest, most authentic self could shine through.

I set out to establish myself in the coaching and speaking world, never knowing where the journey may lead. And what a journey it has been!? 2 best selling books, close to 300 podcast episodes and appearances, tens of thousands of followers, over 1200 hours of 1:1 coaching and hundreds of hours of group work, speaking and more.

Most importantly? ❤️ Lives changed. More than I could count, including mine!

For a couple of years now I have been called deeper than I have ever gone before. Divine discontent has whispered in my heart. It calls me to take people beyond this human experience of personal growth & development and enrich their spirits in ways that until recently, I had not experienced myself.

I’m called to not only change lives but souls. Mine first and foremost, as has always been the way with my work thus far.

Grace has shown me that this chapter of my journey is now complete. Gratefully, I have accomplished what I set out to do and now must follow God’s next assignment for me. For that, I must lay down all that I have known and be made new by the gift that Jesus has given me.

Honestly, I have only a fraction of a clue of what lies ahead and with even more honesty; I LOVE that! My life is in the hands of my maker and I fully trust that He knows best.

We demand for peace in the world, yet don't cultivate it within ourselves.

We look on in horror at the atrocities across the globe, yet don't clean up our own.

We seek to blame governments, institutions, systems and God yet don't realise that we are major contributors to it all.

How many of us can say that we are personally, actively, diligently, purposefully and systematically working on our own INNER conflicts? Daily. Hour by hour.

When we're honest with ourselves, we hold resentments, hurt, grudges, judgements, shame, criticism, guilt and more within our own minds, hearts and relationships. WE are not at peace as individuals and yet blame God for “letting” these awful things occur.

What are WE spreading with that energy?

We're spiritually sick and our human behaviour is a direct example of it.

There is no “out there” without an “in here”.

Our EXTERNAL world is a direct reflection of our INTERNAL one. Each and every one of us has a personal responsibility to do our part for peace.

🕊️We MUST seek peace and love within ourselves. The “world” doesn't become peaceful, then you find peace. No. We become peaceful and loving, THEN the world becomes peaceful.

We're all part of the same body. YOU have power to change your internal world and that has a direct impact on those around you, the ripple effect is astounding.

I honestly thought I was too fat to go overseas.....

Having struggled with weight, self esteem, self loathing and substance abuse for years already, my dream of travelling was met with thoughts of condemnation and impossibility.

"Fat girls like me can't travel" ( or find love, be happy, have success)

It was before we had a body positivity revolution and just long enough before the explosion of social media that I used a 8mega pixel digital camera to capture my life with nowhere to "post it" but my bedroom wall.

I went fat. I went scared. I went feeling unworthy.

I went.

I spent 2 years travelling close to 30 countries and spent my 25th birthday here in NYC with my (now late) brother, best friend and travel buddy.

I made memories even though I was scared.... And you can too.

Don't let your mind, it's thoughts of scarcity and your fears or limits control you .... You'll just miss out on life.

A note to self that you may connect with

If you empty your heart of everything but God, you will be utterly filled with all his Glory. Empty yourself. Lose yourself to save yourself.

POSSESS nothing, have everything

Unceasing restlessness, the thorn in the side of humanity. We are restless, constantly wanting more, never satiated or satisfied. Always thirsty, always hungry.

Nothing here will quench that thirst but we seek in vain through earthly things. We seek to possess all we can to fulfil the longing.

We scroll, people please, grasp, crave, avoid, numb, eat, drink, sabotage and more because we want to FEEL glory, yet we run from feeling suffering.

But it's the seeking of our own glory that IS the suffering. It’s the self will that destroys us.

Stop the search, get to the root of it and fulfill your Godly destiny. To please him. For his joy, for his glorification.

When you align yourself with his plan and empty yourself, you'll have more than you could ever imagine

Unless we are aware of our trauma, it will keep controlling us. Yes, YOU have childhood trauma.

It may not be big T trauma that's obvious but even our emotional needs not being met can cause emotional fractures/wounds in ourselves.

It will keep playing out in all areas of our lives until we first, become aware and then work through it. And if we don't, it'll manifest in dis-ease, illness, reoccurring problems etc.

As Jung said ... Until the unconscious becomes conscious, it will rule your life (and you will call it fate)

It's not an excuse for behaviour or a space to blame ourselves or others but an opportunity to notice and address the needs that caused the wound in the first place.

Reparent, rewire, rework, redo, reconcile and reconnect to the lost parts of ourselves so that we stop being controlled by them and reach the mental freedom that we all so long for.

It's been a trying few weeks. Serious diagnoses close to home, old internal demons resurfacing and the reality of death prominent.

Yet I'm peaceful? 🧐

I feel the storm raging on the surface. At the "human" level things feel heavy and hard but in the depths of me, all is well and I know that. I feel that. I trust that.

Without mastering my mind, I'd never be here. If fear was still my ruler, I'd be cooked. Without the skills of emotional leadership, they'd be hijacking me left, right and centre.

Knowing yourself, having self mastery skills and trusting in your authentic wisdom DOESN'T mean that life will be free from pain....
....it means that you're less likely to augment that pain into internal suffering. You'll stop resisting the natural flow of life's (sometimes hard and painful) circumstances to find peace no matter the storm.

It's these moments that I need this training the most.

Learn how to train your mind, master your fear and lead your emotions now so that when the storm rages..... You'll know where to find the calm. And the storm WILL come, you could be in one right now.

"I used to wait. Wait for others to do life. Wait for people to rescue me. Wait until a different moment. Wait for something to change....."

Turns out it was me all along.

12 months ago, this soul made a choice that her current reality needed to go. Riddled with anxiety, just surviving, letting people treat her poorly and trapped in a self made mental prison of fear, self doubt and self bullying.

12 months ago she said yes to a scary future of facing her inner demons

12 months ago, going to Coles was literally impossible.

Now, she flew from Perth into Melbourne, hired a car and drove the 10 hours to little ole Batemans Bay via Canberra to meet me in person and show herself how far she's come... How far!

Tonight, after 12 months of intensely working together online, we met in person for the very first time. A week and year of many firsts as a celebration of radical transformation.

✔️ The first time she's driven more that 90 mins
✔️ The first time she's planned a holiday on her own
✔️ The first time she stopped waiting
✔️ The first time she's taken her life back
✔️ The first time she's mastered her mind, fear and emotions.
✔️ Too many firsts to count

This is mindset training. This is the power of transformational work with me. This is the result of courageous action and the relentless pursuit of our own authenticity.
