A meaningful milestone for Reach & Match Inclusive Education Kit is now part of Tuvalu’s journey to strengthen Inclusion Centres and empower children with disabilities. 🥰

I had the joy of delivering online training with Tuvalu’s Inclusive Education Officer and educators, supported by the Tuvalu Australia Partnership for Quality Education. 🙏🏻

With now in classrooms, children with multiple disabilities are experiencing new ways to learn and thrive and we’re co-creating strategies with Tuvaluan educators to make inclusion part of everyday practice.

Today, on International Day of People with Disabilities ( ), my heart is filled with gratitude and inspiration!! 🙏💡🥹
 
I am thrilled to partner with SG Enable to roll out the Reach & Match program in Singapore, providing adaptable training for our first batch of trainees from eight incredible organisations, including .sg , .sg and .sg I am extremely excited to see how Reach & Match Inclusive Education Kit will support , and foster greater for children with diverse needs in these communities! 👦🏻👧🏼✊🏼
 
I am truly grateful for the support of the visionary leader Geok Boon from SG Enable, whose dedication to inclusion has been truly remarkable. A heartfelt thank you to Will Chang, Alvin Tan, Sock Poh and Janice for their amazing support and contribution throughout this journey.
 
Immediately after the training, I was honoured to participate in the first Zero Project APAC Symposium 2024, speaking on the panel “Tech for All: Enabling Independence and Inclusion through ICT.” It was a privilege to share the stage with inspiring leaders like Assoc. Prof. Suranga Nanayakkara, Gerald Teo, He Gong, and Dennis Teo, moderated by the incredible Herk Low Ng, exchanging insights on how technology can foster independence and inclusion for all. 🌏

While most of my business knowledge has come from hands-on practice, podcasts, and books, completing the Business Management to Leadership Executive Program at Harvard University was a truly impactful experience. It was my first structured exploration of strategy and leadership, combining real-world insights with academic depth. 😬

Thrilled to share my journey 🌍 as part of the , focusing on and . My recent study trip to Oslo 🇳🇴 and Helsinki 🇫🇮 was enriched with valuable meetings and insightful exchanges.

A major highlight was my discussion with Kristin Skeide Fuglerud, Chief Research Scientist, and her wonderful team at the Norwegian Computing Lab. With over 20 years dedicated to research on inclusive designs supporting individuals with disabilities, her contributions are exceptionally inspiring. 👏

In Helsinki, I had the pleasure of engaging with the University of Helsinki and the Opetushallitus - Utbildningsstyrelsen - Finnish National Agency for Education. Meeting dedicated educators Kati Sormunen, Hanna Lampi, Riia Palmqvist, and Kati Kaplin-Sainio in the fields of early childhood and special education was insightful.

The conversations with Ritva Ketonen and her colleagues about the universal challenges of integrating into mainstream education were revealing. Given Finland’s acclaimed educational excellence, their authentic perspectives on and its global challenges were invaluable.

A visit to a special school (fun walking through a forest in snow😆 🌳), brought a heartwarming delight – discovering the implementation of our Inclusive Education Kit. It’s truly encouraging to see our work making a difference! ❤️ Special thanks to Misa Möller and Oppimis- ja ohjauskeskus Valteri | Valteri center för lärande och kompetens for incorporating Reach & Match into your schools.
