A disruptive innovation strategy seems complicated. It seems far intangible and never to fulfil when compared to the conventional process, as the risk attributed to it is monumental than the other forms of innovations. However, once a disruptive innovation strategy, is deployed, it accomplishes faster pe*******on and a higher degree of influence over some time.
The disrupters create a market pe*******on where none existed. Disrupters create an opportunity when there is no proven direction.
Jeff Bezos & Shivajj Maharaj Shared a dream, a Plan and Futuristic thinking. They both followed the disruptive innovation to achieve their goals. Warrior King Shivaji Maharaj conquest began in 1660. Jeff Bezos in early 1990s. Three hundred years apart but share some striking similarities when it comes to disruption, innovation and expansion.

Still, Jeff forayed into the digital evolution, which was growing at 2000% a year back then with positive and futuristic thinking. He made a list of items which could be sold online and finally settled with books. His strategy based on shopping with the help of technology. He started with a small online book store and gradually evolved as a market leader in internet platforms.
Shivaji Maharaj wanted to bring entire India under one kingdom. It seemed a distant dream with mighty Mughals on the opposition. But then, the warrior king made inroads into the establishment of a nation with ingenious guerilla war—a lesser-known strategy. Shivaji had a single point agenda to keep the country united. His warfare is based on speed and innovation. The warrior king attacked and won Torna fort, which was considered as most significant. He claimed the lead and eventually took control over 300 forts in a few years.

Shivaji promoted commerce by providing businesspeople with a choice of locations at discount prices. He encouraged business people with tax concessions
Bezos timely build useful products, purchased new companies, invested in companies and ultimately increased amazon’s net worth. And Amazon became the worlds most valuable company.
Shivaji Maharaj had over 370 forts. He was the first Indian king to cultivate navy in addition to acquiring land. He had 300 shipyards, hundreds of frigates and many sea forts. He controlled over 300 miles of coastline. " Shivaji is known as ‘Father of the Indian Navy.’
Expansion :
Jeff believes in quick decision with 70% information, instead of waiting for the data to become 100%. He also knew that that the first product is never your final product and every day is a progression of improvement for a great customer experience
Shivaji Maharaj lost “Battle of Purandar” in which he had to relinquish all of his gained territory (around 21 forts). He is a man who was never to give up, which made him regain all of his land and even more than what he had lost earlier. By the time he had become king, he was having more than 300 Forts and with an expanded Army.
Shivaji Maharaj and Jeff Bezos believed in a win-win synergy. Both foresaw the importance of innovation and expansion in an I explored territory. Both the great leader first practised the qualities of honesty, truthfulness and trust.
Although they belong to a different time zone. Jeff and Shivaji Maharaj are in a league of one's own.
As Shivaji Maharaj said, " when you are determined the mountain looks a clay pile". The business giant and Warrior king had worked hard, had great fun in the process and created history.
