My neurologist put me back on Gabapentin for neuropathic pain in my back and legs. Unfortunately I have had to abandon them as I did last time I was on them because of severe swelling of my face, hands and feet. Does anyone have any suggestions for neuropathic pain killers ?

Anyone having severe back problems since taking Gilenya ?
Since my latest relapse in early December my back pain has been unbearable. So much so that I may have to consider abandoning this form of medication.

After 11months on Gilenya my neurologist confirmed another exacerbation for me yesterday. After examination he told me I was showing new neurological signs. So I am having three days of IV Methel Prednisone next week.

Has anyone else had painful, swollen Lymph glands under their arms and in their groin area since being on Gilenya ? I have been taking Gilenya for ten months now and these symptoms started about three months ago. Some days I find the pain and discomfort unbearable. Groin pain is so bad I cannot walk. I see my Neurologist next month and I will be sure to tell him about this problem. We are meant to report all side effects so that they can be documented.

Three months on Gilenya and I have lost a significant amount of hair. My neurologist told me three other patients have complained of the same side effect and one patient has ceased using the drug because of this and the other is going to see if it improves after another month or two. Is anyone else experiencing this problem ?
