Education: Only 17% of people with disabilities have a university degree, compared to 35% without disabilities (Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training).

Employment: In 2022, 56.1% of people with disabilities were employed, compared to 82.3% without disabilities (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare).

Discrimination: 1 in 3 Australians with severe disabilities faces discrimination (Australian Bureau of Statistics).

Population: Over 5.5 million Australians live with a disability, representing 21.4% of the population (ABS 2022 Survey).
