Officially made the cut ✂️ pixie cut!!🧚🏼‍♀️

It’s been two years of dedicated medicated hair growth..

Many stop✋starts on this precarious medication but proud I haven’t given up. One thing I have learnt through this experience is slow and steady wins the race. 🐢 I am grateful for this process and my progress so far.

Today marks a proud milestone as I sat in that chair and had my first haircut since childhood. Shoutout to the amazing Bruno for the fantastic hair tips, the cute ☺️ new 'do, and most importantly, for lending an ear for my journey and providing a comfortable and memorable experience. 🥹

“A reminder of the turning point in my life. This was the final straw or strand before I came out publicly about my hair loss (Alopecia) with a video I had created. ⁣ ⁣ During this time, I experienced something that can only be described as a spiritual awakening. I felt an energy shift that literally shook my body. I’ve never before or after this moment felt anything like it again. As my finger slowly pressed the upload button, I felt my heart racing and I knew at this very moment, it was finally about to all be over. I froze. An electric energy shot down from the sky and passed all the way through my entire body and out. It took me a while to comprehend what just happened. It was as if I had been reset, reinvigorated, released and reborn.”

I want to share my personal journey with you, offer advice and life hacks which have helped me get through my own obstacles and life challenges.

It’s very easy to fall in the trap of comparing ourselves and conforming to the “beauty standards” that we are pushed down our throat and we are exposed to every day on social media. This can have a grave affect on our mental health and wellbeing. I’m here to say f*** the beauty standards! True beauty is feeling confident and comfortable in the skin your in.

We need to stick together and support one another. Life can be challenging and I really hope I can make some sort of a positive impact in peoples every day lives.
