Our week in review. This week had its challenges. We started out really strong but became exhausted really quickly. The shopping took way longer than expected but came together in the end. Food was fun at first but became more stressful as our busy week piled on. This was the first life as usual week since the holiday season began. Crazy time to start this diet, but hindsight is 20/20. We’ve learnt a lot, about the report and its application and about our own rating habits and now it's time to take stock and reflect on where to go next as a family 🌱

Still waiting for things to warm up here. Loads of networking and conversations going on around me. People connecting at communal tables and sharing their very different stories on how they ended up here tonight and why. I’m surprised that those I’ve been chatting with don’t know anything about or the report, they are part of the participants festival21 have picked a lovely environment for the talk and the food is super delicious and .

This is Pip’s lunch which was way more photogenic then mine, same thing only mine was as a mixed up salad bowl with crumbled tortillas for added texture and crunch. I’d like to take a second to acknowledge the half hour of gut wrenching pain the child endured that turned out to be trapped wind 💨 Suspect = excess quantities of beans.

Day the third of lashed out on avocados 🥑 and feta with cherry tomatoes on spelt toast, strawberries and mixed nuts on the side. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so many nuts! Normally steer clear due to the high calorie count but I’m eating with abandon this week! And since I’m the generation of I decided to embrace the cliche ;)
