As a health coach, one of my biggest successes has been teaching, guiding, supporting and empowering my own children.

To understand how to look after themselves, ✨ How to make healthy choices
✨ How to listen to their bodies, and learn when they've made a not so great choice how it makes them feel.
✨ How to chop, prepare and cook real food. They have all been up at the bench with me from babies and chopping with knives by at least 2yrs.
✨ I have always talked and shared stories about why it's important to eat well, eat fresh and make from scratch.
✨ I've shown them how to make healthy treats that taste delicious - and we have also baked with sugar and had treats that might not be so great to get a balanced feel for the real world.

I did used to be super, SUPER, strict with what they ate, and I saw how this rigidness backfired as they got older.

Finding BALANCE, along with a good understanding of food choices, and education from a young age is they key.

💗Fostering and allowing for a healthy relationship with food to blossom without the guilt of eating 'BAD' foods which can lead down a slippery slope.

These photos show some very proud moments which are all very recent. Without my pushing or forcing, my kids have made some pretty incredible meals and choices that they love.

We are our children's first teachers and role models.

Making pivotal decisions for our personal health as adults doesn't only benefit us, it inspires and teaches our kids too.

This may not look like the healthiest of choices for a health coach

In fact for me who is gluten and dairy free this was really a stretch for me, and very indulgent.

However, being healthy is so much more than what we eat!

Although our diet has a has a huge impact on our overall health and wellness, there is so much more to consider.

Our relationships, our home life, our lifestyle, finances, social life, and happiness and more, all play a major factor in how we feel, think and perceive ourselves.

When we have amazing relationships with whom we can discuss all of life's challenges, with love and acceptance, this boosts our health

When we feel safe, confident and happy, this boosts our overall wellbeing

When we can be our true selves amongst friends, this makes us feel loved, supported and heard.

For me, I've learnt to find balance, to not be hard on myself if I want to indulge times, and to enjoy life.

When we have a healthy relationship with our food, we can have cake without the guilt or shame, and enjoy those special opportunities for celebration.

This was a very nourishing morning tea, not for the food (which was absolutely delicious), but because of the company, the rich discussion and the beautiful love between friends.

So enjoy all aspects of your health. Not just the food & exercise side. Finding balance that works for you is the key!

😊 Insetead of feeling and believing negatively about your day, your life, or yourself, you can positively influence your belief system by using simple affirmations or mantras that can boost your confidence, self confidence and self-love.

This is my daily routine, alongside others that help me anchor myself, believe in myself and give me the confidence to get myself out there.

This gorgeous kids book hit the nail on the head!!

This morning on my walk I was contemplating many things, and how the busyness of our lives often makes us miss the simple and small things in life.

'Stop and smell the roses", came to me.

Each day of my 21 Day Challenge I have had the pleasure of experiencing life on my property growing and transforming before my eyes, and today I realised that wether I was taking notice or not, change was happening!

Life IS change, and change IS life!

Bring conscious of our surroundings, slowing down and appreciating the value of simplicity and the natural flow of life, is powerful and profound.

When you take notice, you realise how beautiful the smallest things can be. Each day is a blessing.

This is also a mirror to our own personal growth and transformation. Whether we notice it or not, or if we are consciously making the effort to change, we are all shifting in our own way.

Then to sit down inside, and find this book on the couch I got for my children....... the synchronicity is the conformation!!

So don't underestimate the small and simple things you can do to create change, growth and transformation in your life, for whole body health and wellness.

I'm am super excited to announce the newest In-Spirit Retreat with you all, which I will be co-facilitating with Brad and Adam.

This has been a dream of mine for a while now and I can wait to share this experience with everyone who joins us.

We have organised an epic 3 night, 4 day adventure!!

It's all about giving back to yourself, unplugging from your busy life, and letting you reconnect to nature and the ELEMENTS

We will be going on some incredible hikes, (decent fitness level needed) swimming in waterfalls, and having nourishing chats, food, and fires at night.

Day 8 of my 21 Day Challenge

It was a typical Melbourne Spring day, 4 seasons in one day!!

I focussed on staying calm with four kids inside all day and had to centre my energy many times. Having these skills is essential and I am so grateful for these tools.
This is also something I can teach you to master, helping you achieve a stress free environment no matter how chaotic

When we nourish ourselves with nutrients, good sleep and hydration, our nervous system is better equipped to deal with stress, alongside some very helpful energy balancing tools.

Overall, glad to have got a little sun on my face, do my farm jobs and get a little walk without getting soaked!!

Day 5 of my 21 Day Challenge

Was lovely to have my little 2 give me tips and advice on my mat work this morning. They have better core strength than me 😂

Then a lovely walk in the forest, finding gorgeous bush flowers and trees to climb along.

A nourishing breakfast smoothly full of berries, banana, cacao, and all of my micro nutrients powders. Full of antioxidants and minerals.

My go to raw treats that are clean and yummy! No sugar or junk so you only need a little to feel satisfied. Let me know if you'd like the recipe!!

And finally, craving some quiet time and rest. Listening to my latest fav music to soothe my soul.

My cup is full after a week of nourishing myself with the love and care I've been lacking lately. Thank you to everyone for your likes and encouragement. It's been fun!!
