We are pleased to welcome Dr. Dimple D’Costa to Casey Specialist Centre. Dr D’Costa is a Specialist Gynaecologist with over 15 years of practice in women’s health. She also works at Peninsula health in Frankston as a General Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. She specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gynaecological conditions and has a keen interest in minimal access surgery.
Dr. D’Costa provides personalised care and support to her patients, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and outcomes. She believes in shared decision making and takes her time to help patients make the right choice for themselves after thorough discussion of options available /suitable for them. She is kind and compassionate in her approach.
Dr D’Costa did her initial training in India completing masters in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She then pursued training in United Kingdom achieving MRCOG followed by Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Her special interests include:
* Management of abnormal uterine bleeding
* Pelvic pain management
* Menopause
* Preconception counselling
* Contraceptive services including medical and surgical options
* Laparoscopic surgery for Ovarian cysts, Sterilisation/tubal issues, diagnostic, endometriosis

We are delighted to welcome Mr Kenny Rao to Casey Specialist Centre. Kenny is an Australian trained Urologic surgeon. Consulting and operating in Queensland and Melbourne, he sees adult patients with a broad range of Urological conditions, with subspecialty interest in kidney/bladder cancers, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, kidney stone disease and prostate disease.

​Growing up in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Kenny graduated from the University of Melbourne and trained at Austin, Monash, Ballarat and Box Hill Hospital before completing a general and Robotic Fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Kenny has performed over 7000 endoscopic surgeries for kidney stones and prostatic enlargement and has extensive experience with TURP, laser stone surgery, UroLift, Greenlight laser PVP, pe**le curvature corrective surgery and vasectomy. He has also performed hundreds of robotic assisted prostate and kidney surgeries and is the highest volume fully accredited Da Vinci™ Robotic Surgeon at Mater Pimlico Townsville & Macaky .

Kenny is well published in international peer reviewed scientific journals and won the Villis Marshall prize for his research on kidney ischaemia reperfusion injury. He has written a book chapter on haematuria and has been an invited speaker at the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ), American Urologic Association (AUA), and European Association of Urology (EAU).

RSV vaccination is now on the National Immunisation Program for pregnant women.

👉 Ideally given between 28 and 36 weeks of
pregnancy.
👉 This is important for protecting young infants by vaccinating mums when they are pregnant.
👉 This vaccine can be given at the same time as others (like the flu vaccine or whooping cough vaccine)

| Welcome Dr Tang and Dr See - GP Trainees |

We are extremely proud to be a well renowned teaching clinic; providing training for exceptional doctors who are specialising in General Practice. We are pleased to introduce our newest trainees, Dr Susie Tang and Dr Samuel See. Currently with 5 GP trainees and another 23 independent GPs working across Cranbourne and Clyde, there are more GP appointments available to better serve the community. Prior to her GP training Dr Tang worked a few years as a junior doctor across Peninsula Health and Monash Health.

She enjoys meeting patients from all walks of life and the diversity that general practice has to offer.

Dr. Tang also currently holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors, going on hikes and being accompanied by her fury Pomeranian.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Andrew Nolan has completed his GP training with us at CMC, obtaining his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Like many of our former GP trainees, he has decided to set up his future independent GP consulting at Casey Medical Centre - Clyde, where he will continue to look after the community of Casey. 🥳 🎉
�Dr Andrew Nolen completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne in 2019. Prior to this, he completed a degree in Science and worked as an analytical chemist before deciding that General Practice was his true passion.

Andrew completed his internship and residency at Austin Health, with rotations in medicine, surgery and emergency medicine. He also had an opportunity to complete several specialty rotations including acute spinal, liver transplant and renal medicine.

Andrew is interested in all aspects of General Practice, with special interest in paediatrics, general medicine, sexual health and q***r health, and has also found an interest in trying to help patients with long covid.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys keeping active, going to the theatre and exploring diverse food experiences across Melbourne.

| Welcome Dr Meena Mittal - Pain Medicine Specialist |

We are delighted to welcome Dr Meena Mittal, pain medicine specialist, to the Casey Specialist Centre.

Dr Mittal is a highly qualified and experienced pain medicine specialist practicing in Victoria. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Melbourne in 2003 with Honours. She then went on to complete a Fellowship in Anaesthesia at the Alfred Hospital in 2013. Recognising the importance of acute and chronic pain management, she completed a Fellowship of Pain Medicine (with Honours) at the Alfred Hospital in 2014. Since then, she has dedicated herself to the combined practices of Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine.

Dr Mittal’s practice is focused on helping patients obtain a better understanding of chronic or persistent pain and how best to manage it. She places paramount importance on improving the quality of life for patients living with chronic pain. She has an innate ability to relate to patients and make them feel comfortable with discussing their pain condition. She provides comprehensive care, clear communication and believes in collaborative and coordinated care whilst engaging with the patients, their general practitioners, specialists, and allied health professionals.

Dr Mittal finds it hard to fit in activities outside of her busy schedule, but when she does she tries to spend more time with her kids to watch them grow and develop into wonderful individuals. She is also interested in starting Latin Dancing and Pilates.
