Join us on April 9 & 10, 2025, for two days of FREE foodie fun at Fed Square 🌱🍎

Explore how food shapes our health, culture and the planet with hands-on activities, live demonstrations, inspiring workshops and of course – lots of amazing guests and performances on our super-foodie main stage.

We can’t wait to celebrate the magic of food with families, and the role it plays in building a healthier future for the next generation.

Exciting news: We're teaming up with Currie for a series of panel discussions focused on building a fairer, more sustainable food system.

Join us as we kick off this the series at Fed Square next month, as part of the National Sustainability Festival – it’s free!

Date: 27th February
Location: The Edge, Fed Square
Time: 6 – 7.30pm

Our food choices impact more than just our health – they affect emissions, soil, waste, and our overall well-being. As we face a cost-of-living crisis, how can we produce, distribute, sell, cook and recycle food in ways that will create a more equitable and sustainable Australia?

Our host Dani Valent (Good Food) will welcome James McLennan (Farm My School), Hannah Maloney (Good Life Permaculture) and more exciting guests to explore actionable ways to we can all engage with, and support, a sustainable food future.

And that's a wrap for the 2023 ! Thousands of kids joined us in the heart of the city for a memorable two days of joy, exploration, creativity, education and fun.

A huge shoutout to everyone who made this event possible - from our events team to our fantastic hosts, partners, volunteers, and of course, to our little ones & grown-ups for joining us. We are excited about the next generation of health & sustainability leaders, budding gardeners and little chefs! 💚

Are you ready? The Little Food Festival is just one day away now!! 🥳

Join Australia’s first and only food festival just for kids for two jam-packed days of education, exploration, creativity and fun - right in the heart of the city.

Your little ones will love preparing tasty treats, getting their hands dirty planting seedlings to take home, creating paper seasonal lunchboxes, learning about traditional bush food and so much more. We can’t wait to see you there! 🙌
