My beautiful elderly father asked today "Do you have time to play some backgammon with me?". My first internal thought was 'No, I've got so much to do!'.

Quickly my thoughts shifted to the day that will come one day soon when I will give ANYTHING for one more game of backgammon with my Dad. So we played.

The smile on his face when I left was so bright. While my 'to-do' list remains, sometimes the most important thing to do, is to spend precious time with those we love the most. It bought so much light into my heart today - just what we both needed.

What time have you given to yourself and someone you love today to be present in a precious moment in time?

We know it’s good for us but we often don’t do it! I just had a great class at Stretch Club. Half an hour and I feel great. Don’t let being inflexible stop you … the team are amazing at adjusting for all abilities. Really excited to put into practice the small daily recommended stretches to improve my mobility. Highly recommend you try it out! They’ve got some great offers at the moment so check them out!
