We’re thrilled to announce that Melanie Persson The Very Hungry Coeliac - Melanie Persson will be joining us at the Geelong Gluten Free Lifestyle Show!

Mel is the bestselling author of The Very Hungry Coeliac (2023) and Gluten-Free Feasts (2025), and was a standout on MasterChef Australia in 2022. Since being diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2016, she has dedicated herself to recreating the dishes she once loved—bringing joy, flavour, and accessibility back into gluten-free cooking.

Her recipes are inspired by her Swedish heritage and her time living in Australia, Japan, and Italy—celebrating global flavours that are comforting, inclusive, and absolutely delicious.
