SCAM ALERT! 📧

We’re aware of a recent scam email being sent to participants that looks like it’s been sent from the NDIA.

This email asks you to click on a link that takes you to a fake website, asking you to login using your NDIS details and update bank account details.

❗ We will never ask you to click a link to update bank details through email, text message or direct message on social media.

If you have clicked the link in the scam email you should:

➡️ Login to the NDIS participant portal via myGov or the myNDIS mobile app, and change your NDIS login details and myGov login details as soon as possible.

➡️ Confirm that your bank details, phone number and email address are correct. If they are incorrect, contact us so we can help you update them.

➡️ Report the scam at 💻 https://ow.ly/ugZy50VGO8I

It’s important to be suspicious of unexpected contact or unsolicited requests for your NDIS details.

⚠️Medicine shortage update – Further shortage of methylphenidate hydrochloride products⚠️

In addition to the shortage of Concerta and Methylphenidate-Teva XR products, Ritalin and Artige immediate-release tablets are now also in shortage.

A shortage of Ritalin LA capsules is anticipated, starting from 21 April 2025 for the 30 mg strength, and from May, June and July 2025 for the other strengths.

These medicines are used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

We acknowledge the concerns and difficulties caused by such shortages, especially due to the specific requirements for prescribing and dispensing methylphenidate hydrochloride. We hope this notification will give patients and prescribers the opportunity to plan ahead.

We urge patients who are affected by these shortages to speak with their pharmacist about their supply of medicine. We also suggest patients consult with their prescribers early about their treatment plan, as they may need a new prescription.

What a wonderful celebration of All Abilities local sports 🏏👏

This season was filled with laughter and tears, we played through good times and bad… but we did it all together, side by side! And that’s what counts 🙌

Sports is a wonderful way to meet new people, make friends, get active and have fun!

Thankyou to all of the players, coaches, families, friends and volunteers for a season to remember 👏👏👏

We cannot wait for cricket to return but for now, it’s time to grab a footy! 🏉

Today is International Women's Day (IWD), a day to acknowledge and celebrate all women - especially those with disability and those that support them. ​💜

According to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) Social Affairs, men with disability are almost twice as likely to gain employment than women - and women with disability are also more likely to face unequal hiring, promotion standards, pay, and less access to training.

With the 2025 IWD theme as "Accelerate Action", we want increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face.

RezCare are now welcoming new intakes for the West Melbourne/Geelong Regions!

Who are we and what do we do?

RezCare was founded by Kimberley Rezmann, who has 15 years experience in the field of Disability.

Kim has thrived in her role as an NDIS support worker but also assisted children and young adults with additionall needs through the education system, into supported and mainstream employment opportunities and also in many local recreational activities ensuring high levels of inclusion.

Kim has experience with high levels of Autism, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability, ABI, ADHD, personal care, behavioural concerns, physical impairments and much much more!

Providing the following NDIS supports;
