This week I've been focusing on mindfulness.
Meditation is defined as the act of giving your attention to only one thing, either as a religious activity or as a way of becoming calm and relaxed.
Our lives are full of noise, rushing and to do lists. It never stops. Just spending 5 minutes of your day focusing on the present. Either drawing attention to your breath, or your body, or thinking of a calm, happy place can do wonders for your physical and mental health.
You can do it yourself, or use a guided meditation app.
I encourage you to try it out. It takes a bit of practise but it's worth it.
