Meet Dr Charles Gallagher

Charles is an upper limb Orthopaedic Surgeon, and the newest member of the OSV team.
Specializing is shoulders, elbows, hand and wrists, Charles works to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve upper limb function.

Harvinder Bedi has recently returned from an Orthopaedic Outreach Program in Suva, Fiji.
Harvinder, along with his hand picked team, were able to work and train alongside the local Fijian Healthcare workers and surgeons, to share their knowledge.
Orthopaedic Outreach’s principal goal is to provide surgical training and services to the under-developed countries.

Dr Geoffrey Tymms has just returned from an outreach humanitarian mission in Manila.
Geoff, along with three other international surgeons had a mission to perform surgical care of disabling foot and ankle deformities in under-served regions of the world, while simultaneously educating orthopaedic surgeons in various treatment alternatives. They believe that surgeon education will ultimately translate into helping thousands of people worldwide.

Andrew was honoured and privileged to be invited as international guest speaker for the Korean Fracture Society (KFS) 40th Anniversary celebrations at the Korean Orthopaedic Trauma International Congress 2025 held in Incheon, Korea.

He was able to share his experiences with renowned experts, leading researchers, and dedicated clinicians from around the world in this meaningful event. KOTIC 2025 featured a diverse array of keynote lectures, scientific sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to inspire and connect participants to not only celebrate achievements but also set the stage for future advancements in musculoskeletal trauma care. The Korean Fracture Society has been at the forefront of advancing the field of orthopaedic trauma, fostering innovation, and promoting excellence in research, education, and clinical practice. Over the past four decades, the KFS have grown together as a community, continually striving to improve patient care and contribute to the global advancement of orthopaedic science.

Andrew would like to thank KFS for the kind invitation and look forward to further collaboration in the future.

Lateral Extra-Articular Procedure (LEAP) International Consensus meeting.
📍Naples, Florida, USA

Julian Feller joined other leading ACL surgeons from around the world have been working together for the past six months to provide guidelines for orthopaedic surgeons around the world on when and how to use a LEAP to reduce the risk of ACL graft rupture, culminating in an intense and long day at the Arthrex headquarters. Great to see such a large international collaboration

Jason Harvey was another OSV surgeon who presented at the Shoulder and Elbow Society of Australia meeting last week, at the Sofitel in Brisbane.
Jason spoke about Randomised controlled study of autologous tendon-cell injection versus surgery for treatment of severe chronic treatment-resistant lateral epicondylitis.
