Reflexology and COVID 19 update
Hi, I hope you are well and staying safe in this unusual and uncertain time. I just wanted to touch base in regard to my return to clinic. Under the continuation of Stage 4 and then the staged “roadmap” back to lower lockdown levels there has been no mention of when allied health or therapeutic therapies can return to clinic and hands on sessions.
I am currently waiting for clarification from my professional associations for some indication of possible return dates.
Owing to this I am unable to give you a date for commencement of sessions but as soon as I know I will be in touch again to start making appointment times.
Obviously when I do reopen, it will again be under strict COVID conditions with all cleaning, contact, social distancing and mask and clinic protocols being adhered to.
I thank everyone for your patience and understanding in this frustrating situation and I hope to see you again very soon.

After three long months of unplanned “long service leave” I’m very excited to announce I am going back to clinic again.
From Monday 22nd June I will be in clinic again to work with my clients helping them navigate their way through this new normal.
Sessions are by appointment only and the clinic has introduced new procedures and protocols under Covid restrictions.
I can’t wait to see my returning clients and would love to meet any new clients who have yet to experience the amazing benefits of reflexology.

If you have been doing lots of computer work whether working from home or just surfing hours of you tube your shoulders might be feeling tight. Here is an easy way that can help to relax them. See photos below.
The shoulder reflex on the hands is just below the knuckle under the little finger. Supporting one hand with the other, use your thumb to work under and around the knuckle. This can be quite tender if your shoulders are tight, so just work to your tolerance. As you are working this point just sit and try to relax your shoulders. Swap hands and repeat on the other hand. If your shoulders are tight you can repeat this a number of times during the day doing 5-6 runs on each hand.

Dear Pressure Point Reflexology clients.
It is with a very heavy heart I have to inform you I have made the difficult decision to TEMPORARILY close my clinic practice due to the Covid 19 crisis.
In consultation with my GP I have made the decision for my own health, the health of my family and of course the health of all my clients. This will only be a temporary measure and I will be back in clinic as soon as I can be. In the meantime, I plan to do
online teaching and one to one online sessions. The details of these are yet to be finalised but I will inform you of these changes and availability when I have worked it all out. Please contact me if you have any questions or wish to go on a contact list for online sessions/ teaching.

Sitting in my clinic room this morning waiting for my first client feeling many conflicting emotions. Sadness and nostalgia mixed with excitement and joy. Today is my final day of working at vitalessence after 16 amazing years.
Lots of laughter, tears and much healing- for myself as much as my clients. However this ending is only the beginning of an incredible new journey.
As of Monday Pressure Point Reflexology has a new home. I will be working from AMA Podiatry 81 McKinnon Rd McKinnon.
I’d love people who have been clients at vitalessence to come along to experience my new clinic and if you have never had Reflexology before come along and try a session.
