We’re pleased to offer the new Menopause Health Assessment, a Medicare-supported health check specifically for people experiencing perimenopause & menopause.

This assessment recognises that menopause is a significant life stage that can impact physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. It’s designed to provide comprehensive support, early intervention, and personalised advice during this time of transition.

💡 Who is it for?
Patients aged 35–55 years who may be:

Experiencing symptoms of perimenopause or menopause

Seeking support for hot flushes, sleep changes, mood shifts, weight changes, and more

Dr Kate Robins-Browne has recently completed qualification in clinical hypnosis and is pleased to offer hypnotherapy to assist with the treatment of a range of concerns including stress, anxiety, insomnia and smoking cessation.

During hypnosis a person experiences an altered state of consciousness, known as trance, in which their conscious mind is less active and their subconscious is more active and receptive. The therapist provides verbal suggestions specific to the person and their goals. All clinical hypnosis requires the consent of the person and suggestions always take into account the person’s individual preferences and goals.

A hypnotherapy consultation usually takes 30 minutes and a person is awake and alert when they leave. The number of sessions a person requires depends on the problem being treated and the individual’s receptiveness.

Can you believe we are turning 8?

As we hit this milestone, we want to take a moment to celebrate and reflect on all the amazing people that work in our organisation. From our doctors, though all independent contractors, share a united vision striving for compassionate, non-judgemental, and comprehensive care to all. To our nursing, admin and management teams who support the medical team in the running of the day to day of the clinic - we couldn't do any of it without you. Thank you!

It's been such an incredible time for us and we wanted to warmly also thank the absolutely amazing community for making it such a wonderful journey. We have loved being part of the North Melbourne fabric and meeting & caring you. Thank you for placing your trust in us. It's an absolute privilege to care for you and your loved ones.

Shared maternity care means that a woman's pregnancy care is shared between a hospital and a GP who is affiliated with the hospital.

This model of care is a popular option for healthy women who would like to have continuity of high quality care with their doctor, flexibility with their time and accessibility for appointments.

Have you met Dr Levente Varga - one of our newer doctors at Royal Park Medical?

Levente completed his medical degree at the University of Notre Dame in Sydney and Melbourne. He then started his medical training in Ballarat, before returning to Melbourne to complete his specialty training and obtaining his Fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Levente has interests in travel medicine, obesity and weight management, asthma and allergies, smoking cessation, child and adolescent health, men’s health, mental health, and preventative and lifestyle medicine. Levente is accredited to provide Yellow Fever vaccination.

Outside of work he enjoys travelling, trekking & spending time with family and friends. He cares for 2 pet rabbits.

The doctors at Royal Park Medical offer thorough skin checks for all. We will discuss and review your skin and any spots you are concerned about, provide advice regarding monitoring as well as treatment options.

Most suspicious lesions can be removed onsite in our purpose built facilities and are performed by our GPs who have advanced training in dermatology.
