I caught myself saying, 'Just give me a sec honey' - again.
It was multiple times a day and I was sick of hearing myself say it.
If I kept living like this - always rushing, always multitasking, always running on empty - what was I teaching them?
That this is what womanhood looks like?
Always doing.
Always tired.
No room to breathe.
No space to feel.
And that's not what I want for them.
I want them to grow up believing that rest is sacred.
That their presence matters more than their productivity.
That they can live a full, joyful life without burning themselves to the ground.
But to show them that...
I had to go first.
So l started unlearning.
The hustle.
The guilt
The pressure to be everything to everyone.
And I began building something different - A way to earn online that aligned with my values.
A life where I could be present - not just physically, but emotionally.
A new story, where freedom was the foundation - not a reward I had to earn.
Our kids are watching.
