Some of y’all don’t actually want to parent…

you just want control.

Because the moment your child:
• expresses big emotions
• questions something
• pushes back
• tries to have a voice

it’s labeled as “disrespect.”

But raising a child who never speaks up,
never questions,
and never challenges anything…

isn’t success.

That’s conditioning.

The Real Goal of Apology
When parents force a quick “say sorry now!”, children often learn:
• How to escape punishment
• How to perform politeness
• How to avoid consequences
But when children learn the languages of apology, they develop:
• Accountability
• Empathy
• Responsibility
• Emotional maturity
And those are the qualities that build strong character.

Helping children understand their feelings is more than just saying “don’t be sad”. 💭✨

Kids need tools to recognise, name, and manage emotions. Using a simple Feelings Flow Chart, they can:
• Identify what they are feeling 😢😡😊
• Understand why they feel it 🔍
• Learn healthy ways to cope 🌿

Why it matters: Early emotional awareness builds resilience, confidence, and social skills. 🧠💖

Tips for parents & educators:
1️⃣ Encourage naming the feeling.
2️⃣ Pause & take a few deep breaths.
3️⃣ Choose a coping strategy (talk, draw, movement).

This kind of play shows how the ADHD brain thinks creatively and visually. When children can label their feelings through play, they learn to express and regulate their emotions in a safe, meaningful way.
