Day four of getting to know the Social Media Team!

What does having a job mean to you?

Hailey – It moves me forward in life and increases my independence. I’m learning to travel independently using public transport (catching three buses to work!!!). I've also made friends!

Janet – I always strive to do my best in a job – I like learning about social media and interacting with different people!

Josh – My job gets me out of the house and gives me something to do!

Welcome QLD to the NDIS!

Queensland has become the second state to put forward a plan to the Federal Government to fund the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Premier Newman has announced today that under the plan, QLD would boost disability funding progressively up to $1.77 billion by 2018.
