Happy Sunday! Here's the official update from last week's event.

The 2024 Metung Fun Run, powered by The HIIT Factory Bairnsdale and supported by the Lions Club of Metung, was officially our biggest and best event to-date, in its 14-year history!

We're stoked to announce that this annual fundraising event broke records for:

- almost 400 total participants, including more than 100 kids in the Colour Dash
- over $16,000 raised thanks to generous sponsors and ticket sales

Leading the 10km pack as our pace rider today, was Cosette on her beloved eBike, which she's dubbed 'The Red Terror'. On loan from Venture Out in Lakes Entrance, this Trek Powerfly 4 mountain bike boasts a mid-drive Bosch motor and 500 watt battery. Upon demand, this bike delivers amazing performance, handling any hill beautifully, making it an absolute pleasure to ride in all terrain and conditions - even rain (which thankfully we didn't have to battle today). Drop into the shop and check it out for yourself. If you haven't ever ridden an eBike, have a go - they're a bunch of fun, and ideal if you aren't quite as bike fit as you want or used to be!
