Total Asbestos Services was established as an incorporated Company in March 1998. Wendy Tredinnick is the sole Director of the Company TAS Enterprises (Aust) Pty Ltd, trading as Total Asbestos Services (TAS for short), as well as being a Class A asbestos licence holder. With our fully equipped three EPA registered 4 tonne trucks and five fully equipped utilities, we are in a position to undertake
state wide asbestos removal works, both friable and non-friable, servicing both metropolitan and regional areas in South Australia. TAS service the domestic, commercial, industrial and Government sectors. We can also offer minor structural demolition and reinstatement works after the completion of asbestos removal, undertaken by licensed contractors, such as carpenters, electricians, flooring, fencing and roofing contractors. Besides asbestos removal, our company can also offer residential asbestos inspections for asbestos content by a fully registered assessor, sample analysis for identifying asbestos content and general consultation with all asbestos issues. All site employees have current National Police Clearances, along with other induction/clearances required for site works such as SAPOL sites including the DCSI clearances for Child Related and Aged Care Sector, all Spotless sites, Yatala Labour Prison, Flinders Medical Centre, Flinders University, Adelaide University, various Aged Care Facilities, Housing SA sites plus many more. Wendy is part of the SA Asbestos Coalition committee that meets monthly with other Government bodies, such as EPA, SA Health, SafeWork SA, SA Unions, Asbestos Victims Association, ADSSA and representatives from various other organisations with an interest in the promotion of asbestos management, education and awareness in the wider community. Part of her initiatives has been to promote this by organising public displays at the various Home Renovator Expos, and giving public talks to investor groups who undertake renovations of homes built before the mid 80’s
