Kintsugi Yoga

Kintsugi Yoga Kintsugi refers to the art of creating beauty from that which was once broken. I also enjoy and have trained in yin which may show through in my practice.

After a Defence career that left me with physical and mental trauma it was my growing understanding of yoga that allowed me to let go of my past and transform my life from chaos towards control. I offer a slow-paced vinyasa flow that allows time to explore and breathe in the pose. My own injuries remind me that there is no perfection in the pose but an individual journey that we all must take.

When neglected, it can lead to anterior pelvic tilt, back pain, and limited mobility, while chronic stress may keep it in a perpetual fight-or-flight state.
