Floral set up 💐 Bec and Jake. I love how weddings bring people together. The florals came together with many hands contributing their efforts for the special couple. They are all giving the best of Winter Goodness.Literally my favourite combination of flowers!

Someone told me that sometimes “you have to let the materials talk to you”. Today was a great creative day. Armed with materials I collected from my recent trip to my birthplace , the flow was present. A small start, but a start nonetheless.

2024 was difficult for me creatively. I decided after my health scare in late 2023 that I would take a step back from creative pursuits that initially made me happy, but took it’s toll due to my perfectionist nature. 2024 was meant to be my recovery period to try and find that spark again. A recent long holiday and re-connection with my previous “ride or die” friends have ignited hope again. Today was a great creative day. Armed with materials handmade in my birthplace , the flow was present. I had finished creating before I even realised the time. I am definitely ready for 2025 creatively. The spark is there, for now that is definitely enough.

Parol! Having celebrated Christmas in the Philippines, I was inspired by all the lights of the traditional Parol lanterns. This little wreath is a nod to my childhood memories of the holiday season. Capiz Shell star and handmade abaca roses and leaves from .mindanao. I love the simplicity of the materials crafted by Filipino craftspeople. The neutral palette allows it to be hung all year.

Ren. You will find that I will be the one most excited about delivering your florals to you! Each flower and foliage is considered, planned many times over in my head and on paper( I’m old school) and the realization of it on your wedding is the final step of which I am truly joyful about! I’m grateful to all the couples who have trusted me with their florals.

It’s been a hot minute. I’m back !!!!!Actually a whole year has passed since I had an unexpected hospital stay which fortunately I have been able to recover from. Posting from a wedding earlier this year. Florals for a dear friend in classic white and greens. Texture , texture, texture!
