WA’s Health System Is Breaking Records — for All the Wrong Reasons
In May alone, ambulance ramping hit 5,333 hours — the worst May on record, even surpassing 2022’s shocking 5,257 hours.

This isn’t just a number. These are patients left waiting in ambulances, paramedics tied up for hours, and families in distress.

The system is stretched beyond breaking point, and the Health Minister seems clueless.

Western Australians deserve better. Lives are on the line — and the excuses are wearing thin.

Our Health System Deserves Better

Under Roger Cook, our health system struggled and he was removed as the Health Minister in 2021. Then came Amber-Jade Sanderson, and things went from bad to worse — now WA has the worst health system in the country.

And who’s next? Meredith Hammat.

West Australians deserve a health system that puts patients first, not a revolving door of ministers. It’s time for real leadership and accountability. I’m seriously worried about where we’re headed.
