We are so grateful to Bray and the team at Baxter Soccer Club for not only hosting this fantastic event, but for putting in so much work behind the scenes to organise everything, and choosing to raise funds for Mental Health Safety Net. Your generosity, commitment and community spirit are truly incredible. 🙏

Thank you to all the players, referees, and spectators who contributed and made the day such a great celebration of women’s and girls’ football on the Mornington Peninsula. The atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish. 👏

A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers, whose time and support helped everything run so smoothly. We simply couldn’t do events like this without you. 🙌

⚽🏆 Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Peninsula Women’s Pre-Season Cup! 🏆⚽

What a fantastic day of soccer, organised by the wonderful team at Baxter Soccer Club!

The U16s and U14s kicked things off with an excellent showcase this morning, demonstrating great skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship. 👏

Our senior teams then took to the field to compete for the Peninsula Women’s Pre-Season Cup and the Over 35s Plate, delivering some exciting and closely contested matches.

🏆 Peninsula Women’s Pre-Season Cup: Langwarrin were victorious, with Mornington awarded the Runners Up Trophy after a hard-fought 1–0 result

🥇 Over 35s Plate: Chelsea claimed the win

Congratulations to all teams who took part in this event, raising funds for Mental Health Safety Net – it was wonderful to see women’s and girls’ soccer celebrated across all age groups. 💙

⚽💙 The Peninsula Women’s Pre-Season Cup is happening this Sunday at Baxter Soccer Club, and we can’t wait to be part of this fantastic day raising funds for Mental Health Safety Net.

Come along and enjoy a full day of soccer, with Women’s, Over 35s and Girls games being played throughout the day. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate women’s soccer on the Mornington Peninsula while supporting a great cause. 💙

We saw some outstanding achievements at the Mental Health Safety Net Fun Run ! 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

👏 Despi ran an incredible 24km
👏 Allegra organised a team from Woodleigh School herself. Bringing together both students and a teacher, their involvement showed fantastic leadership and community spirit. 🙌

We love seeing people challenge themselves while supporting su***de prevention education in our local community. Every step makes a difference. 💙
