🚨 Youth Hub Update 🚨

Hey everyone! Just a heads-up that Tounnin Wominjeka (Rosebud) and Shed 11 (Hastings)  and The Corner (Mornington) will be closed next week on Tuesday the 22nd and Thursday the 24th of July. Our youth services team will be out doing some training.

No all-time fave, but Lani’s pretty much memorised She’s The Man – and yep, she still laughs every time. 🤣

Chatting with her workmates (good yarns only!) and getting fiercely competitive over card or board games – bring your A-game if you're challenging her!

🛶 Willow and Emmerson – Unsung Heroes

At just 14, Willow kayaked 330km across Bass Strait to raise funds for Variety Club. Quiet determination, big impact.

Emmerson showed courage and calm when her kayak capsized during the same Bass Strait fundraiser. A true hero.

💡 Thomas – Young Leader

Leads in school and the community—coordinating appeals, volunteering with St John Ambulance, and more.

💇 Julia – Inclusivity Agent

Led younger Scouts through tough conditions at the Australian Scout Jamboree with patience and strength.

🏅 Meet some of the incredible young people recognised at the 2025 Youth Recognition Awards 👇

🌱 Loqlan – Environmental Warrior
Cleans up the Peninsula while diving and bushwalking, inspiring others to care for the environment.

🤝 Bella – Community Contributor
A former student turned teacher’s aide, Bella supports kids with special needs and is studying to keep helping others.

🎭 Flynn – The Arts
Excelling in design technology and helping classmates learn new skills—Flynn’s creativity and kindness shine.

💙 Rhiannon – Kind Heart
A young carer supporting her sister and always helping others, even while facing her own health challenges.
