We’re welcoming NDIS participants into our hands-on Retail Skills Program, built to grow confidence, independence, and practical job skills in a supportive retail environment.
We currently have capacity to take on new participants on
Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays
At either 1.3 support or 1.1 support.
What participants learn
✔ Customer service and communication
✔ Using registers and handling money
✔ Stocking, organising, and presentation
✔ Workplace routines and teamwork
✔ Confidence in a real retail setting
Great for participants who
• Want to work in retail
• Are building independence and workplace readiness
• Learn best by doing, not just talking
How this supports NDIS goals
• Increased social and community participation
• Skill development for employment
• Improved confidence and independence
• Increase with Money handling skills

Mount Eliza Op Shop is currently running low on shopping bags and would really appreciate donations.

We are looking for:
• Paper shopping bags from other retailers
• Plastic courier bags (the type used for online clothing orders)

If you have any of these at home and no longer need them, we would be very grateful to receive them. Your donations help us keep things moving smoothly for our community.

You can drop them off directly at the shop during opening hours.

At C2A, respect is about valuing every individual and supporting them in ways that honor their abilities and choices.

We are proud to celebrate Lynette, who shows us that respect is a two-way street. While Lynette receives support throughout her time at the op shop, she engages with the team and participates in daily routines with focus and enthusiasm. Her presence reminds us to listen with care, provide guidance patiently, and celebrate achievements no matter the size.
