I’m happy to finally have the Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) tincture back in stock. It didn’t grow well last year, and I only had a small amount of the tincture. I have a lot of plants this year, so hopefully I won’t run out of it again. 💖

This amazing herb is a nervine and heart tonic, helpful for both physical and emotional heart issues. It’s great for PMS, menopausal symptoms, delayed, irregular, or painful periods, and difficult labour. It can be used as a first aid herb for any emotional upsets, stress, anxiety, mood swings, irritability, physical pain, and nerve pain.

Motherwort is a very bitter herb that can also improve digestion. Due to its bitterness, it’s best used as a tincture. It’s definitely not a herb that can be enjoyed as a tea. 💚🌿

It’s time to tincture my favourite herb. 🌿 Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is taking over this garden bed and is shading out all the other plants growing here. I should have given it its own garden bed. I’m glad and very grateful that it’s doing so well, though. Such a beautiful, calming, and uplifting plant. 💚

Lemon Balm is safe for all ages and is my go-to herb for anxiety, stress, nervous tension, and mild depression. Its antiviral properties can help prevent and treat herpes 1 and 2 outbreaks, Epstein-Barr Virus infections, and cold symptoms. It can also help with indigestion, heart palpitations and hot flashes.

Its documented use dates back to 80BC, when it was used as a panacea herb. I love Lemon Balm and I think most people would benefit from its use 💚🌿
